Marketing dodges accountability like it’s their job.
Why?
Money fear.
When millions are on the line, stakeholders would rather throw their grandmother under the bus than take responsibility.
But there’s hope. Here’s how to turn ghost stakeholders into engaged leaders:
The Accountability Stack: Use project charters, public deadlines, and weekly impact reports.
Document Everything: Create a Wiki or stakeholder report that shows who owns what, what’s delayed, and the business impact.
Positive Reinforcement: Praise works better than shame.
